Our girls and nearly everyone under 20 was dressed in their best costumes, walking the old streets of Valletta in the morning awaiting the parade to begin at 1230 (of course nothing starts here on time). We met some great friends, staked our claim on a great area of stairs and danced and laughed all morning.
Our neighbor dropped off some Prinjolata, the traditional Carnival cake of Malta, surrounded by Jordan almonds. So yummy! And the baked goods were all on full display at the festivities.
