Since moving to Virginia back in December, we've only gotten down to DC once to meet friends at the National Monument (a few weeks after arrival and while still in the hotel).
It has been on our list to make it into the capitol again, to visit an old friend at the National Law Enforcement Museum. He was taken too soon in November of 2012. He is sorely missed, but NEVER forgotten.
