Sicily - Teatro Antico di Taormina (October)
I'll divide up the postings from October's trip to Sicily. Here are some photos of the outdoor theater in Taormina. Teatro Antico di Taormina is a Greek outdoor theater, built in the seventh century. Find more here.
It is still actively used for operas and music during the summer months. The views from there were really beautiful. The sea and Mt. Etna in the backdrop, how could that not be beautiful!
Our hotel (will post alone) was in a great location, so it was easy to leave the car and just walk everywhere.
