Marsaxlokk Malta Freeport

(to update to June 14, 2014)
When you have a history of working for ocean liners in the international transportation field, having a day date with lunch where you can watch the steamship lines come into port is actually pretty cool. Okay, it's REALLY cool!!
So if I ever go back to shipping and some how the Marsaxlokk, Malta terminal comes up in conversation, I can say, "Ooo ooo, I've been there!".

Two Little Mermaids

(to later update as June 11, 2014)

The girls have been enthralled with all things mermaids lately, so with the pool and upcoming summer birthdays, this just seemed a logical next step.
Note to self, the tails are MUCH easier to put on before they are wet...
The girls both LOVE them and will hardly take them off! Just can't be far away until they get the hang of them ;)

Captain's Log Sep 2016...

Yes... I know... I've said it a million times, but beginning a 3ish year back log... AGAIN.
(June 2014, Father's Day, Malta)
How many things can I miss about these few photos? A lot...

  • Chris being home... sigh
  • How little the girls were
  • Our old Malta home
  • Roadside statice flowers for a euro or two
  • The courtyard garden inside the house
  • The girls' Cambodia t-shirts, purchased before Ceiba was born
  • The hippo holding the fork

Harpers Ferry, WV

(June 27, 2016)
Less than an hour from our home in VA, Harpers Ferry WV is full of beauty and history. We enjoyed a day out under an overcast sky (thank goodness or we would've fried), the girls earned their first jr ranger badges, and we visited a local winery on the drive home. Successful touring day with Gma & Gpa H.
