Camera

Word on the street is that my camera is enroute to me - repaired.
Please oh please let that be correct! I will meet the UPS man at the door with a smile!
Though it will take up precious airline allotted baggage space, it would be SO nice to arrive in Dhaka with my "good" camera in hand :)

  1. How did it break? I just had one break two weeks ago, and thus had to get a new one. I am toting the old one to Dhaka, maybe someone there can repair it. Mine had a run-in with an entire bottle of sunscreen.

  4. What kind of camera do you have? I'm looking at DSLRs. I too keep meaning to take a photography class....

  5. Lauren, the circuit board went bad, but only knew for sure after I took in for repairs from dropping it at the botanical garden, which busted the latch for the battery. Ug. Just happy it's finally back in my hands!

Sheryl, I have a Minolta Maxxum 5D. Bought it 4.5 years ago, because I'd had a Minolta SLR so had several lenses to match. Love it, but Minolta was bought by Sony, so now it's hard to repair. Think if it ever peters out, I'll switch to a Nikon. Hope that's years down the road. But yes, I really need and want to take a class.... to unleash my hidden potential...hee hee hee.
